Rocky is one of the most iconic sports movies of all time that spawned seven sequels and became the benchmark for all future boxing movies. But it seems we’re still learning something new about the film everyday.
On Instagram recently, Rocky star Sylvester Stallone posted a picture of the original poster the studio was going to use to promote the movie. According to Stallone, the poster was hand drawn by artist Tom Jung, but the studio decided to go in another direction. Stallone says no one has seen this poster in 42 years besides himself, and he also says it’s the only one in existence.
