RR Auction house based in Boston is offering a handful of Prince-related items for the public to bid on. The auction will take place from February 8th through the 15th. Some of the items included in the auction will be a microphone used during the Purple Rain tour, a pair of custom purple boots and a tambourine with a Prince symbol on it.

But the most noteworthy item has to be handwritten lyrics to the song “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man.” The lyrics are written on Prince-watermarked stationary and contain a different version of the chorus than what was eventually recorded.

Personally, I’d think the handwritten lyrics would be more valuable. But RR Auction house says they expect the lyrics to go for around $10,000 while the Prince custom boots are expected to go for around $50,000.

This is actually not the only Prince-related auction coming up. Another auction is set for this May that will contain other items from the musician’s life.

So if you’re fan of Prince, you’ll have many opportunities to get your hands on some of his priceless treasures in the coming months!
