Writer of ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ Shares His Original Handwritten Draft of the Screenplay

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is a cult classic comedy that people still watch and love to this day. So you know fans would be excited to get a look at the original draft of the movie’s screenplay.

Ed Solomon, one of the co-writers of Bill and Ted, logged onto Twitter recently and posted the original draft for the movie’s screenplay. According to Solomon, he and co-writer Chris Matheson wrote this original draft in a coffee shop together. Solomon says that he and Matheson wrote it just for fun, and the only rule they followed was to write what made them laugh. He says they never really thought people would even read the script, much less get it turned into the classic comedy we know today.
