With so many classic TV shows being revived by various networks, fans of all sorts of programs are demanding that their favorites come back as well. But if you’re a fan of Parks and Recreation, you may get your wish.
Nick Offerman, who played Ron Swanson on Parks and Rec, was at SXSW recently talking about a new film he was asked about a recent guest appearance he made on Will & Grace, the recently revived NBC sitcom that co-stars his wife Megan Mullally. The interview then asked if he would be interested in returning to Parks and Rec.
“They’re bringing every show back now, maybe they’ll want to bring our show back,” Offerman said. “If Mike Schur and Amy Poehler want to bring the show back and they think it’s a good idea, I will certainly sign on.”
Parks and Recreation has been one of the most talked about shows for fans wanting a revival alongside another NBC classic, The Office. Even though both shows went off the air more recently than other revived shows, such as Murphy Brown and Will & Grace, maybe NBC will eventually give in to the pressure.
