Henry Winkler may only play a small role on Arrested Development, but he’s got big news to share with fans of the hit comedy show.
In an interview with Decider, Winkler was asked about the upcoming fifth season of Arrested Development, which originally began on Fox but aired its fourth season on Netflix. Winkler said the wait won’t be too much longer.
“That will be on midsummer,” Winkler said. “We just shot it before Christmas.”
Winkler played the Bluth family attorney, Barry Zuckerkorn, in 26 episodes of Arrested Development. And obviously it sounds like he will appear in more of the upcoming fifth season.
Of course, there’s no way to know if Winkler is 100 percent correct. The show could require re-shoots before it airs, and actors are often not told premiere dates this far ahead of time.
Decider reached out to Netflix and asked about when the fifth season of the show will air, and the streaming service replied, Arrested Development “is coming soon.”
So if you’ve been dying to see more adventures of the Bluth family, you probably won’t have to wait much longer.
