Han Solo is one of the most iconic characters in movie history. And now fans can own one of the items most famously associated with the space smuggler.
Julien’s Auctions in Los Angeles announced that they will be auctioning off Han Solo’s blaster that was featured in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. This particular blaster, known as the DL-44 in the Star Wars universe, is one of two prop guns used in the making of Return of the Jedi, but the whereabouts of the second blaster are not known.
Obviously, people love Star Wars and Han Solo specifically, so this is expected to auction off for a pretty sizable sum. The blaster has never been sold before, and is expected to go for between $300,000 and $500,000.
Luke Skywalker’s original lightsaber sold at auction last year for $450,000, and a R2-D2 model that was used in several of the films once sold for $2.7 million.
So you’ll need to smuggle a couple of princesses off of dangerous space stations if you want to afford this Han Solo blaster.
