Many fans of Game of Thrones wish they could visit Westeros and take part in the events of the show. Well turns out if you’re going to Finland any time soon, you might be able to do so.
A Game of Thrones ice hotel recently opened in northern Finland. The hotel will be part of Snow Village, an annual festival featuring an ice-and-snow construction project that takes place in the town of Kittila, Finland, which is 93 miles above the Arctic Circle.
Lapland Hotels, the company making the hotel, says it will feature a bar and a chapel for weddings. The hotel is being made as a joint effort between Lapland and HBO Nordic, making it an officially sanctioned Game of Thrones hotel.
The hotel will open in April. However, guests are encouraged to only stay for one night due to the sub-zero temperatures. So make sure to bring an extra cloak!
