Game of Thrones is currently filming its final season right now, and fans are eagerly anticipating the ending of this epic journey. But it turns out even the actors on the show are going to need to wait to see how it ends as well.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the hit HBO show, was recently asked in an interview if she knows how the show will end. “I don’t know that I even do now,” she said. “They’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us.”
Clarke’s comments seem to confirm earlier rumors that suggested that the creators of the show would write and film multiple endings of the show so that even the cast wouldn’t know the true ending and therefore avoid anyone leaking how the show will end.
Of course, Clarke could just be lying to all of us. Other actors have discussed how it was to read the script for the final episode. Would it really be so emotional to read four different endings to the same story?
So perhaps all the actors on the show are in the same boat as show watchers. We can’t wait to see their reactions to the finale next year!
