Elvis Presley is one of the most iconic pop culture figures from the 20th century. And now you’ll be able to own a piece of his legacy, and possibly even wear it.
Presley’s personal wristwatch will be auctioned off this May in Geneva. The watch is an 18k white gold Omega purchased from Tiffany’s. The watch was a present in 1961 from RCA Records in honor of Presley becoming the first person to sell 75 million records.
Presley ended up trading the watch with a man he met who said he admired it. That man’s son gave it to his nephew, who is now putting it up for auction.
Because of Presley’s penchant for trading watches, several of his have ended up on the auction block in recent years. In fact, one Omega watch that belonged to Presley sold for $50,000 in 2012.
So you’ll probably need a little bit of money to buy this one.
