Screenbid’s TV and Film Auction Curator is the binge-watcher who has Netflix, Hulu, AND Amazon Prime. The cinephile who MUST see the hottest movies in the theater, and makes regular recommendations. They post reviews, live tweets, or share the latest memes about what’s hot on screen daily.

Applicants must be proficient in the following:

  • Copywriting (proper punctuation, great spirit, and creative)
  • Organizing (physically and digitally)
  • Computers (must know basics)
  • Corporate Etiquette (proper use of email, respect for coworkers and common areas, etc)

ScreenBid is seeking a full-time customer service and fulfillment expert to join the expanding team at our new Hollywood Boulevard headquarters.

Product Manager/ Trainer

Looking for someone in the LA area that is an A+ communicator to lead a team of individuals who will be training multiple clients in several locations.  This role will also require the ability to train clients on the software as well, so understanding technology and software development practices are a must.  This role will report directly to a VP within the company and will be required to issue regular status reports and issues.  Film and Entertainment experience is a plus.

Our company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly with upper management and outside stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
  • allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books
  • transfer data to general ledger
  • reconcile and balance all accounts
  • collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
  • track and maintain inventory records
  • maintain internal control systems
  • manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • prepare checks, payments and bank deposits
  • prepare and process payroll
  • comply with relevant reporting requirements
  • calculate and prepare tax payments
  • assist with budget preparation
  • assist with audits
  • maintain complete filing system to support financial records

Candidate Requirements

  • Education
    Bachelor’s Degree in Business with concentration in Accounting
  • Technical Skills and Prior Experience
    Five to seven years prior experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger area.
  • Experience working in an entertainment company preferred.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles a plus
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Experience with Quick Books required. Other large automated accounting system experience a plus. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
