It’s been reported that Brad Pitt has agreed to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino’s new movie. The movie is supposedly called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and is set around the time of the Manson Family murders in 1969. DiCaprio will play Rick Dalton, a TV actor whose fame has faded in recent years, and Pitt will play Dalton’s stunt double. Dalton is also a neighbor of Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski’s wife who was murdered by the Manson Family in 1969. It was rumored that DiCaprio was going to play Charles Manson in the movie, but that is apparently not the case.

The new movie has gained some controversy since it was announced, with many people worrying the film could possibly exploit Tate’s murder and glorify the Manson Family crimes. Tarantino has reassured people that while the movie is set around the events of the murder, it’s not directly about them and more about the atmosphere of Los Angeles in 1969.

Both Pitt and DiCaprio have worked with Tarantino previously, so we think this could be an awesome team up.
