Season three of Better Call Saul ended with a shocking moment, and fans have been waiting to see the aftermath of that scene for months. And now we know when we’ll see more of Jimmy McGill.
AMC announced that Better Call Saul will return on August 6th for its fourth season. The network confirmed that Chuck McGill, Jimmy McGill a.k.a. the future Saul Goodman, did in fact kill himself at the end of the show’s third season. In the press release, AMC says that Chuck’s death is what pushes Jimmy to final become the infamous Saul Goodman, the sleazy lawyer from Breaking Bad. Jimmy will apparently find himself more involved into the criminal underworld this season that will threaten his relationship with his partner and girlfriend Kim.
The next season will also see more scenes involving Gus Fring’s rise in the drug world as well as Mike Ehrmantraut’s relationship with the kingpin.
The big question is whether we’ll see more of Jimmy’s life after the events of Breaking Bad. Will his past come back to haunt him or will he continue living as the boring manager of a Cinnabon?
The fourth season will last 10 episodes. It is not known if the show will be back for a fifth.
